Need To Lose Chest Fat?

Hello, I'm Chas Churchill- a Fitness Instructor with many overweight clients, and of course they must be shown how to lose chest fat. Before I commence on any program of exercise and nutrition recommendations, both I and my client need to ascertain exactly what the real or problems are.
On inspecting my client I need to know which problem he has, the condition known as gynecomastia or My experience will usually tell me which one but I need the client's physician's diagnosis prior to my programming.
Did you know that the 3 words come from the Greek language?

* 'gyne' means 'woman'
* 'mastos' equals'breast'
* 'pseudo' equals 'false'

Where the client shows a surplus of glandular tissue, possibly accompanied by fatty tissue but not necessarily, the conclusion is that he has gynecomastia. If the excess tissue is just adipose or fatty tissue then he has pseudogynecomastia which means false gynecomastia. He is also invariably overweight in general.

Irrespective of the doctor's diagnosis and any prescribed medical treatment, it is going to be absolutely mandatory that the client undergoes dietary and lifestyle adjustments alongside an exercise program. By now I assume that my client has banished all ideas of liposuction or invasive surgery, both of which are costly. What do I mean by expensive? I am reliably told that clinics will charge anything up to $8500 these days to operate on gynecomastia and you can forget about your Insurer paying as their ruling is that such clinical operations are cosmetic and of your own choosing.

So what sort of workout program would I, as a Fitness Instructor,need to put into action for my client to attain his desire to lose chest fat. The type of action that we must take will include both aerobic and resistance workouts. Weights work is essential because we have to replace the client's fatty tissue with muscular tissue to give the more manly chest he wants. Another bonus is that the muscle fibers burn even more calories as they are active tissue.

Usually I would be looking at a minimum of 3 visits to the gym per week and my client's program will have to include at least 30 minutes hard CV work, typically on 3 separate pieces of equipment, with the individual working out at 70 to 85% of his Maximum Heart Rate.

How do we figure out a client's maximum heart rate? The starting point is 220 beats per minute, this being the average MHR for a baby and also for the first few years of the child's life. Thereafter the MHR will go down by one beat or so every year. Therefore, you simply subtract the client's age from the base figure of 220 to get at the Maximum Heart Rate. Therefore, if the client is 50 years of age his maximum heart rate will be 220 minus 50 which equals 170 and you will [need . As he gets fitter he will be able to exercise at around 90% of his MHR, equalling 153 beats per minute.

Alongside the CV I would insert a number of general resistance exercises to cover the chief muscle groups, not just the chest. The reason for this is that he will have to strengthen the torso and develop the posture for the next phase. {The first re-appraisal will typically follow in 4 to 6 weeks from his initial program and will typically result in moving up to an alternating '2 day split', something like this|Then, 4 to 6 weeks after this we will have a re-assessment and, if he has made progress, his next program will be ratcheted up to an alternating 'two day split' something like this|In about 4 to 6 weeks the client is nearly always ready for a more precise program dividing the workouts into an alternating 'two day split' like this:

CV/Upper Body/Abdominals
CV/Lower Body/Abdominals

Future re-appraisals could take the client's exercise itinerary up to a somewhat specific and targeted one, with extra accent on the chest. A few months of hard work could well result in a workout schedule something like this:

CV/Chest/Abdominals
CV/Back/Abdominals
Cv/Shoulders+Arms/Abdominals
Cv/Legs/Abdominals

Program flexibility is necessary as each person reacts in a different way to exercise, pursuing their mission to lose chest fat.

The majority of this article is based around gym work but I do know from long experience that lots of you men out there don't like gyms, cannot afford gyms or are simply unable to get to a gym. Therefore, if males are to lose chest fat, they will still need to increase their exercise level with some other discipline or exercises. They will also need some other system of help.

For the past two years now I have been investigating other methods which will assist a guy change his mostly fat breasts into a more masculine chest. I have satisfied myself that some of these systems can certainly help and I have thereforerecommended them because they are home-based, alternative approaches that many have found to have worked for them and bear witness to the fact.

There are also many articles on the website which will give you a greater knowledge of the two conditions.

During this time I have inspired and trained many men to achieve vastly improved Cardio-vascular fitness and, more importantly to them, a stronger and more toned body. Lots of these men had chest issues with many having bad posture through trying to hide man boobs. These were, as I now know, due to either gynecomastia or pseudogynecomastia, so all of this puts me in a unique position when helping men with both problems and giving advice on Lifestyle, Diet, Exercise and the ability to properly evaluate products designed to help with both.
